An Eco-Cultural Approach to Land Use Planning
Step by Step Slideshow

Over the years we've learned about some of the challenges of land use planning on First Nations Lands
(AKA American Indian Reservations). In response, we developed a participatory mapping process that allows residents to determine "where to build and where not to build" without disclosing locations of sensitive natural and cultural resources. We use the slideshow below to introduce the process during community events.

If you think this kind of "Eco-Cultural Land Use Planning" process might be useful for your community,
we will be glad to hear from you. Forward to our "Contact Us & Invitation" page >>
