Northern Light Straw Clay Materials Science Research Design Coalition Institute works with our colleagues at Design Coalition Architects to coordinate an internationally recognized multi-disciplinary team that is bringing new science and technology to the ancient art of building with natural materials. Members of our team are regularly invited to present their results at public and professional events. They are regular guests at the annual Midwest Renewable Energy Fair in Custer Wisconsin. For more information and videos, see the MREA page at www.DesignCoalition.org.
Our research team had the honor of sharing ideas and findings with Dr. Volhard at his office in Darmstadt Germany. The first edition of this ground-breaking book is the source of all the "Light Straw-Clay" construction technology in the US today.
