Affordable Natural House
Madison, Wisconsin

The Affordable Natural House is an urban infill "green" and natural home that we are building in Madison Wisconsin. It demonstrates an integrated family of techniques combining energy-efficiency, healthy living environment, and ecologically-aware, low-pollution materials.

Above: The Affordable Natural House after a substantial snowfall, 8 December 2009. The design of the roof venting system prevents ice-damming and the large icicles such as occur on the neighboring conventional house to the left.
