from Chicago via US 90:

1. Exit onto Highway 30 into Madison
2. exit at the Fair Oaks off-ramp
3. turn Left at the bottom of the ramp onto Fair Oaks Avenue
4. stay on Fair Oaks as it curves around
5. turn Right onto Atwood Avenue (second stoplight after ramp)

In about 8 blocks, the green metal Barrymore Theatre dome will come into view. Design Coalition's office is the storefront just to the left of the Barrymore's main doors.

Alternate route, if Fair Oaks ramp is under construction:

1. Pass by the Fair Oaks exit
2. Exit at the State Capitol off-ramp: exit (onto East Washington Avenue)
3. Proceed on East Washington Avenue (the State Capitol building is in your view the whole way) to First Street (fourth stop light after the exit.)
4. Left onto First Street
5. Left onto Winnebago Street (first stoplight after First Street)
6. Soft Right turn onto Atwood Avenue (stoplight )

The green Barrymore Theatre dome is now in view, 2 blocks away. Design Coalition's office is the storefront just to the left of the Barrymore's main doors.

From Milwaukee via US 94:

1. Exit onto Highway 30 (actually, you proceed straight ahead at this interchange; 94 to Wisconsin Dells feels like an exit to the right, and the route to Janesvile feels like an exit to the left)
2. Exit at the State Capitol exit (onto East Washington Avenue)
3. Proceed on East Washington Avenue (the State Capitol building is in your view the whole way) to First Street (fourth stop light after the exit.)
4. Left onto First Street
5. Left onto Winnebago Street (first stoplight after First Street)
6. Soft Right turn onto Atwood Avenue (stoplight )

From Rockford via US 90:

1. Exit onto 30 into Madison
2. Exit at the State Capitol exit (onto East Washington Avenue)
3. Proceed on East Washington Avenue (you're traveling west, the State Capitol building is in your view most of the way) to First Street (fourth stop light after the exit.)
4. Left onto First Street
5. Left onto Winnebago Street (first stoplight after First Street)
6. Soft Right turn onto Atwood Avenue (stoplight )

From the west via 151:

1. Follow signs for 151 into and through Madison; Highway 151 eventually becomes East Washington Avenue
2. Proceed on East Washington Avenue (you're traveling east, the State Capitol building is behind you) to First Street
3. Right onto First Street
4. Left onto Winnebago Street (first stoplight after First Street)
5. Soft Right turn onto Atwood Avenue (stoplight )

From Hartford via Highways 60 and 151:

1. Take Highway 60 west to Columbus
2. At Columbus, take 151 south into Madison. As it enters Madison, follow the 151 signs. Locally, 151 is the same as East Washington Avenue, the main road into town.
3. Proceed on East Washington Avenue (the State Capitol building is in your view the whole way) to First Street (stop light)
4. Left onto First Street
5. Left onto Winnebago Street (first stoplight after First Street)
6. Soft Right turn onto Atwood Avenue (stoplight )

Please note: these directions do not necessarily describe the most direct route; however, they are the least likely to leave you lost and confused!

If you get lost inside Madison: Ask someone to guide you to "Schenk's Corners" on Madison's Eastside. That's the name of our part of town. Or just ask for directions to the Barrymore Theater.

Parking: Usually there's curbside parking on the street. If not, try behind in the Barrymore's lot.

Eating: There are three good restaurants close to our office: The Blue Plate Diner (American-Eclectic, usually packed but worth the wait), Pasquale's (Southwestern, good) and Wong's Garden (Cantonese, very good).
