SECTION 01300 SUBMITTALS
PART 1 GENERAL
1.01 BUILDING PERMITS
Submit copies of all building permits to the Owner immediately after securing the permits and prior to beginning work authorized by each permit.
1.02 LIST OF SUBCONTRACTORS
Immediately after award of the Contract for Construction, submit to the Architect and Owner a list of all subcontractors and suppliers supplying labor, materials, equipment or waste removal services to the Project, with addresses, phone numbers and contact persons. Revise and resubmit the list when changes, additions or subtractions occur.
1.03 SCHEDULE OF VALUES
Prepare a Schedule of Values to show the breakdown of the Contract Sum corresponding with payment request breakdown. Show dollar value and percent of total for each unit of work scheduled. Submit not less than 7 days prior to the first request for payment. Revise each time the schedule is affected by change order or other revision.
1.04 PAYMENT REQUESTS
Submit payment requests as provided by the Owner-Contractor Agreement. Use AIA form G702, fully completed and executed.
For projects with a Construction Waste Management Plan
Include a Summary of Waste Generated on a form acceptable to the Owner.
1.05 SHOP DRAWINGS
If consultants are used, ask for more copies and retain two for your use and one for the Owner's record, if desired.
Submit 3 prints plus as many as will be required for job use and distribution. The Architect will retain 2 copies and return the remainder.
1.06 PRODUCT DATA
If consultants are used, ask for more copies and retain two for your use and one for the Owner's record, if desired.
Mark each copy to indicate the actual product to be provided; show selection from among the options in the manufacturer's printed data. Submit 3 copies to the Architect; information is for information and record purposes only. Do not proceed with the installation of manufactured products until a copy of the related product data is in the installer's possession at the project site.
1.07 SAMPLES
Submit 2 sets of samples; one set will be returned. Provide samples of observable variations in color, texture or pattern; show average condition and extreme range of variations. Submit full documentation with each set. Maintain returned set at the project site for purposes of quality control comparisons.
1.08 MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEETS
Submit to the Architect a copy of Material Safety Data Sheets where called for in the specific Sections.
1.09 WARRANTIES
All materials and workmanship shall be fully warranted for one year from date of Substantial Completion unless stated otherwise elsewhere in the contract documents. All defective materials and workmanship shall be replaced or repaired at no cost to the Owner.
Submit 2 executed copies to the Owner.
1.09 ARCHITECT'S ACTION
The Architect will stamp each submittal to be returned with a uniform, self-explanatory action stamp appropriately marked, to indicate the status of the submittal.
