House Makeover
Madison, Wisconsin, USA

Despite fronting Lake Monona (one of Madison's four lakes), this house was built with a meager front yard and barely even a stoop to sit on to enjoy the view (see the 'before' photo below). The design for the front facade makeover includes a new vestibule, a second floor balcony and a sitting terrace behind a low planter-wall that provides privacy without sacrificing the view.
